ANTIDOTE
ANTIDOTE are the military/law enforcement agency of Adanac. They patrol the city, and guard the borders of the Outer Limits. They are a highly trained force, armed with the latest tech and a variety of weapons. All units carry an N-67 gun and canisters of N-67 gas, a firearm, and of course a hand-held computer database of all Lessers in the city. All ANTIDOTE are human, and their uniforms range from their black and silver jumpsuits which are resistant to heat, electricity and extreme cold and impact, to a full suit of tech armor, which leaves nothing unprotected. Though the views of the officers may differ as far as Lessers go, they all do their job: Keep Abnormals in, Keep Lessers out, and above all, keep order.
Genetic Abnormals
Genetic Abnormals are those that got their powers from birth, and they normally surface around puberty(as if that time of a teen's life isn't hard enough). The least likely of the four classes of Abnormal to have a side effect, the powers of a Genetic have the greatest potential, as they tend to grow along with the Abnormal. These powers also seem to be the most stable, as they were naturally a part of the being.
Synthetic Abnormals
The result of a man-made experiment, Synthetic Abnormals usually receive their powers as soon as the procedure is complete, or shortly after. This class has the highest probability to have a physical mutation as a side effect, but the powers themselves are relatively easier to maintain control of for the most part; however, there is practically no growth or development, except maybe the mutation getting worse. Some laboratories or organizations that created Abnormals tended to tattoo a serial number on their creations, so as to keep record of them.
Disastrous Abnormals
The result of an accident, Disastrous Anormals were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and such situation usually should have killed them. But instead, the person underwent a change, giving them powers. They have an average rate of mutant side effects, no potential to grow, and the lowest control of the four. However, they are also the most powerful in terms of their power's intensity. Due to the unpredictable nature of this class, they are deemed the most dangerous.
Supernatural Abnormals
Maybe someone encountered a magical relic to gain their powers, maybe joined a mystical cult, or even made a deal with the devil. Whatever the origins, this class is not of this natural world. Supernatural Abnormals almost always have some sort of draw-back or catch to their powers, though they also have a little more room to grow than Disastrous or Synthetic. Regardless of the catch, the gain is usually well worth the price.
Hybrids
The most unpredictable class, a Hybrid's origins come from two of the five mentioned above. This class is much rarer, as the survival rate is very low. Also, in some way, shape or form, a hybrid is very unstable, be it with their powers, mentally, or emotionally. Very prone to lapses and outbursts, treat this class with EXTREME caution.
