She used to be a nice girl. The type that, while she would love to tell you exactly what you can do with -insert object/offer here-, will smile and shake her head. But all that changed when she was thrown into Anadac.
She's also fairly strong for a girl, but often forgets this and wonders why other girls can't do "simple tasks" like starting a lawnmower.
She does have abandonment issues, stemming from the fact that her mother gave her up for adoption, and every time she seems to get close to someone something seems to happen to her or to them.

Nichole was born to a young woman who was around seventeen at the time. The girl's boyfriend abandoned her the second he found out she was pregnant and her parents ended up disowning her. Her mother was forced to try and raise the child on her own. Soon, though, it became clear that she didn't have the ability or the means to raise a child on her own. She tried dating, trying to find someone who would be loving and willing to help her with a child, but every relationship she was in seemed to end in failure. Then she lost her job.
Desperate to have her child survive, she gave the girl up for adoption when she was almost two. Nichole cried for hours when she was left, held back by a social worker. It was her last memory of her mother.
From there, Nichole was shuttled from foster home to foster home, finally ending up for two years with a family that seemed to want her around because of who she was, not because of the money they received or because of the "chores" she could do around the house.
At the age of fourteen she began to be able to manipulate light and read people's emotions. She also began to hit puberty. She kept it secret, afraid of what would happen if she told.
She was truly happy with the family, but then the father was arrested for molesting small boys. She was immediately taken from the house and placed with a new family and the routine began again.
Then when she was twenty, she manipulated her boss into not firing her over an accident. Her boss told the Antidote when she realized what had happened and the Antidote beat her unconscious and took her to an exact replica of her own apartment, except it was bare. She furnished it over the two years she was in Adanac.
